Our client is a niche and rapidly growing procurement SaaS solution designed around the daily operations of procurement teams, built to enhance their day to day activities and drive performance improvements.

They have customers in over 100 countries focused currently on Europe and the US and recently became part of a bigger group which will help them drive greater growth and expansion. In short, a great time to join due to the opportunities this will bring.

They are looking for a Sales Manager to work as part of a UK based team driving forward business with new and potential customers in the UK and Nordics.

This role gives a unique opportunity to be a key player in building and scaling a new operation and will work closely with the regional lead focusing on large global and mid-size companies. 

This is a multi-faceted business development role doing all aspects of the job from qualifying leads and developing a pipeline but also will help set the strategy and work with existing customers, partners  and networks to grow the business.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be happy to travel for occasional Team Meetings and for Client Meetings 

Skills & Experience

  • You will ideally have 5 years minimum experience in a business development, sales or account management role
  • Experience of procurement technology (SaaS) strong knowledge of related software solutions will be considered (Finance/AP, Logistics or Supply Chain)
  • You will have significant experience of working with client stakeholders in procurement, finance and/or IT
  • Understand the key concepts of procurement 
  • Experience of the UK/Nordic market
  • Ideally you will be able to build and qualify a pipeline and develop leads & prospects
  • Significant upselling experience
  • You must be comfortable engaging at Head of Procurement level or above
  • Strong analytical skills
