During the course of our day to day business it is necessary for us to gather, process and store certain data relating to the people and the organisations that we deal with. This information comes under the following categories:

Such information has been provided to us by one of the following routes:
- Job seekers sharing their CVs
- Networking through social media
- Personal contact at meetings, conferences and during phone calls
Our reasoning for holding this information under GDPR Regulations, effective 25 May 2018, is that we have a legitimate business interest to hold this information, specifically with regards to correctly assessing your potential suitability for potential vacancies with the organisations that we recruit for.
Furthermore we maintain that it is in your interests that we hold such information so that we can contact you in relation to career opportunities that may appeal to you or those that we think you may be suitable for based on what you have told us or the information that you have provided to us.
From time to time we may use your email address to send you information about career opportunities and other useful career information.
It is our responsibility and stated commitment that we will hold this information in compliance with the GDPR regulations, and that our chosen software providers (third party providers) are also GDPR compliant. We will only share your data with our clients (recruiting organisations) with your express permission in the event that you agree to apply for a vacancy through Edbury Daley. Our clients are international so this may result in your data being shared with contacts outside the UK or EU. If this is the case, it will be made clear at the time.
We will not sell your data to any third parties. We will only share data with our third party providers that we use to hold your data securely on our behalf, further information below.
UNDER GDPR REGULATIONS IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO REQUEST THAT WE REMOVE YOUR DATA FROM OUR RECORDS AT ANY TIME BY CONTACTING OUR DATA OFFICER. Contact details are below. You may also notify our Data Officer of any complaints you may have.
We intend to hold your data for the next 12 months effective from 23 May 2018. We will email you annually to confirm that we continue to hold your data and remind you of your right to have it removed from our database. This is an opportune time for you to update your data to ensure we have accurate information about you and you can use this as an opportunity to ensure we are giving you appropriate consideration for suitable career opportunities.
